NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.2 (343.02.02)

I'm confused as why nVidia wrote those drivers for GTX 900 series to work on Hackintosh? Anyone have good explanation of what's the purpose?

They aren't written for a hackintosh. They are written for OS X and for MacPro3,1/4,1/5,1 but will run on anything that runs OS X.

I understand it's meant for Mac Pro but it's a different GPU architecture and they must have implemented the drivers specially for MAXWELL otherwise why it's having full acceleration since they didn't release a mac version of GTX 900 series.

As of OS X 10.7 any Nvidia PC Card will work in Mac Pro. The MacPro 1,1-5,1 have standard PCIe slots so using a Maxwell GPU in them is certainly possible. I have explained this to you in another thread as well. I am a Mac Pro 2,1 owner and have been running non Mac cards for years.

i got it fully working am running yosemite 10.10.1 with full graphics gtx970
it was pretty simple.. i booted into setup with UseKernelCache=yes GraphicsEnabler=yes npci=0x2000
it was really fast to load up once i saw installation i customized.. most important "DO NOT INSTALL ANY DRIVERS OR INJECTS [NO NVIDIA NOR INTEL NO TYPE OF INJECTS] NO AUDIO NO ETHERNET " JUST THE FAKE SMC NEEDED TO BOOT NO BOOTLOADER (I HAD ALREADY MADE A CLOVER USB BOOT LOADER SEPARATED FROM INSTALL USB --2 DIFFERENT USB ONE FOR CLOVER ONE FOR YOSEMITE) AFTER the installation finished i booted with nv_disable=1 and installed NVIDIA WEB DRIVERS AND SET UP CLOVER... I HAD A ISSUE WITH CARD BECAUSE THE DRIVER WASNT LOADING IT SO THE CARD WAS GLITCHY AND SLOW ..... I HAD TO MANUALLY ADD NVDA_DVR=1 INTO PLIST AND THATS IT FIXED.... EVEN MY REALTEK8811 ETHERNET IS WORKING ± AM THE HAPPIEST MOTHER****ER IN THE WORLD I DO ALOT OF WORK AS YOU CAN SEE ALL MY TOOLS ARE WORKING PERFECTLY FINE SUPER FAST (PRO TOOLS HD 10 - PHOTOSHOP CS6 - FINALCUT PRO X- DAVINCI ALL MY PLUGINS HOPE THIS HELPS LIKE IT HELPED ME ...
