I just replaced my GPU with a EVGA GeForce GT 740 4 GIG. Everything works right out of the box. Except when I go to about this MAC it shows 0MB for the card. And when I go to the web drivers ECC it doesn't seem to recognize my card.

Sorry I figured since I was already posting in this one about my issues I would keep in this one... I have started my own.

How do we get sound by HDMI output to show, i had audio by the on board intel graphics through the HDMI cable to my TV, but now that i've upgraded to a GV-N970G1, I have no sound through the HDMI from the card, i've followed all the steps to the book, installed the NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers and switched to NVIDIA web drivers by the NVIDIA icon found in the OSX task bar

Try this kext http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1499797

You will have to boot with kext-dev-mode=1 if you aren't already.

See toleda's HDMI Audio Guide (sticky thread) in the HDMI Audio forum section: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hdmi-audio/

I've just installed a nvida 960gtx and after installing the web drivers my motherboard audio is gone, can be related? I tried to run multibeast again but nothing :s

I'm having some graph corruption on these drivers (when on 10.10.2 had it too) when rendering things on AE/PR

Anyone having trouble?

GtX 960 with (346.01.02)
8GB Ram
OSX 10.10.3
Multibeast 7.3

Thank you.

EDIT: It's getting worse...

I have 10.10.3 (14D136) and it is telling me that this version of OS X is not supported when I try to install the web drivers.

When I use the CUDA Preferences in System Preferences, it shows CUDA 7.0.36 but no GPU drivers installed. I had to use nv_disable=1 at boot time or the system would not boot.

Any other way to do it?

Thanks

Alain Gauthier

This link, submitted by another member works. Nvidia Web Driver - 346.01.02f02

Everything looks good now.
