Dont mind me having 2 profiles, sorry about that. Yes mine is a new install as well, I screwed up my old one fooling around with the .ktext files so I had to redux it and boy did i have a hell of a time. Anyways yes the monitor is golden, I dont know why im so facinated to try and get 4k out of my 40 lg tv. Its an Asus MX299Q 29 LCD

I got it for 300 from staples as somebody ordered it and didnt want it. Anyhow im giving up on the whole 4k thing for a while. My system is super stable and I best not mess with it anymore. Im going to keep it at the current profile of mac 3.1 as I hear that is the most stable. I dont know if it makes a difference or not anyways. The gtx 970 supports the 21x9 as well as osx
got the solution to keep MacPro6,1 def

F60DEB81FF30ACF6 change from Config 2 to none.
Save changes and reinstall kext. Reboot.
Now I have my system fully working again, with Nvidia graphics + MacPro 6,1 sys def.
F60DEB81FF30ACF6 change from Config 2 to none.
Mine says Config1
I have another entry for config2
Tried changing both in different combinations to none and nothing works.
Tried changing definitions as well with no luck
Currently on Mac Pro 6.1
Any ideas?
