Hi guys,
Thanks to the resources and everyone here at Tonymac i have got my first hackintosh up and running!
However, i have set my system up to dual boot Windows as well, on its own seperate SSD.
I followed Going Bald's excellent guide here
My problem came at disabling windows from booting UEFI.
As my GPU was UEFI supported i installed OSX via Clover (Using shiloh's excellent build guide here) with 'Launch CSM' disabled.
So the windows install CD wouldnt show up as SATA, only UEFI, so i decided to put 'Launch CSM' to enabled and allow Legacy only, not UEFI.
I installed Windows 7 like this and it booted up fine, i then plugged all my drives back in and rebooted, turning 'Launch CSM' off to boot OSX in the BIOS and OSX works fine.
Obviously upon boot i now only see the OSX drive and would have to change the BIOS everytime to boot on Windows.
The reason i didnt follow the Chimera multi boot screen step at the end, is because i used Clover, and wasnt sure how this influenced the process and how i would go about it.
Note: I didnt format my Windows drive before install, i left that part to the Installer itself.
I have done my best to research and find the answer to my question, but i am still new to a lot of this and it is proving hard to wrap my head round.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
