I'm using the system UUID, MLB, and ROM from an older mini (4,1) that will never connect to the internet. I'm using Chameleon 2377 and FileNVRAM.dylib and have successfully generated a nvram.UUID.plist with matching UUID file following section 6.2. I have injected the MLB and ROM, and iMessage Debug reports all valid values from the mac mini.

I have verified using DCPIManager that my network interfaces are numbered in order (wired=en0, wireless=en1) and en0 indicates "builtin".

I have followed section 3.3 to reset iMessage Configuration files.

However, I am still unable to register iMessage, receiving the following error:

localhost identityservicesd[200]: [Warning] Registration failed for Registration info (0x7fa2b042fea0): [Registered: NO] [Type: AppleID] [Device Name: Macmini4,1] [Service Type: iMessage] [Env: (null)] ... [Heartbeat Date: (null)] (Error: 29)

I get this error for the cloned mac mini using multiple different AppleID's that register iMessage successfully on both real macs and other hackin(g)goshes.

Any ideas?

Help me to fix imessage

Hello, first of all i am french (16 years old) but i prefer speak english for more help. On my mackintosh (imac 14,2 smbios) i have fix iMessage with this guide http://www.insanelym...x-for-yosemite/ and use the guide on tonymacx86 : how To fix imessage for reset messages app and another.

And later i change my smbios with clover configurator (i use clover as boot loader) to imac 14,2 to Mac Pro 3,1 i re-follow this guide http://www.insanelym...x-for-yosemite/

Do exactly the same task but i can connect to my iMessage/icloud/facetime account with the same profile but i can't send any SMS, and when i go from my iphone 5s in preferences=>messages i don't see the option "sms transfer" for enable connection between iPhone and mackintosh for SMS.

For the guide i resume here what i do:

In SMBIOS:
i use a serial number (11 caracters) that i shake and check if it used by a real Mac Pro https://selfsolve.ap...rantyDynamic.do
for smUUID with the command "uuidgen" from my mackintosh's terminal i gen and copy and paste the uuid.
for the Board Serial Number i copy my serial number (11 characters) and had 2 caracters for have 13 caracters.

In Rt Variables:
i used the script iMessage debug for obtain real information (ROM and MLB from real mac)
from a real imac8,1 i insert the ROM and MLB
i save all restart.

I try to reset the application message, use mlb rom from an another imac more new, reset internet connection, reinstall yosemite, disconnect my account from my iphone, change the password of my apple account. Nothing works.
i juste receive a mail from apple who say that a Mac Pro is connected with my account.
i precise that imac8,1 have too 11 caracters for serial and 13 for board serial number like a mac pro 3,1.

I hope that you can help me, nobody on insanlymac and hackintosh Montreal find a solution.
Thanks.

You know at this point there's really no need what so ever to used cloned values owned by you or otherwise. With a bit of reading and research, you can have working values unique to your Hack for the life of it and beyond. Cloning values was a short stop and desperate method that caused lock outs (as predicted) and continues to cause all sorts of logging in problems to some Apple Services. Exercise the old grey matter give it a try, Generate your Hack's values it is not that difficult and if you run into any hick-ups, there are many here only willing to help you out apart from the extensive and informative Guide by Jay - Good Luck.

@goldorac,

There is no need to use any cloned values (at the moment) see @esafeddie post above .....

SO i can use non-apple mlb and rom ? but how to generate him ? Rom i know the the address MAC but mlb i used the code in board serial number.

Hi!

I became this problem: http://kepfeltoltes.hu/150312/Untitled_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg
I have read the guides in this thread, but it don't works for me. I'll write what have I done.

1. S/N. I use clover configurator for S/N, I have tested at https://selfsolve.apple.com/ site, it's write, what it should "We're sorry, the number you have provided cannot be found in our records. Please verify the number and try again"
2. For SmUUID I also use just clover...

3. For MLB-board serial number, I use the SN + 5 random nummeric-alpha characters

4. For ROM I use the MAC address without the characters ":"

What i dont understand is:
1. When I got random SmUUID, then the last numbers, which are the ROM, should I change to what is the MAC address?
2. In clover configurator, under RT variables, should I click on calculate, or just put the ROM and MLB characters, without clicking on calculate?

@ goldorac - If you have managed to install OS X then reading the 'How to Fix iMessage Guide' should provide all the answers or at least give you a start, because any advice I give you is already covered more concisely in the GUIDE.

@ Venndi - If you are getting a customer code and to call Apple then that is exactly what you have to do. Call Apple and give them the code so they can unblock your iMsg/F-Time service, again extensive instructions are in the GUIDE on how to do this.
