can someone help me it doesn't work at all I have changed

I tried changing the build number to the new one in the NVDAStartup.kext but that didn't work

Definite temporary fix. Open /System/CoreServices/systemversion.plist and use textwrangler or any text editor to change the build number 14C1510 (new) to 14C109 (previous.

it worked but then new drivers came out and everything went wrong.

I have changed everything(systemversion.plist, NVDAStartup.kext) back to 14C1510
I have uninstalled the drivers installed them used kext utility used definition to mac 3.1 from imac 14.1
and nothing works.

now I have the latest drivers installed but I get this stupid message that are not compatible with this system.
NVIDIA Web driver: 343.02.02f03 (Not compatible)

what can I do? don't tell me I have to make everything from the start again.

I have updated but cannot access app store. Getting a "plist parsing error" followed by the status error. Hoping this is related to problems apple are having on their servers today !

fixed booted with nv_disable=1 then used some utility kext wizard
rebooted installed with nv_disable=1 and it works.

This update also broke stock driver, I'm was using gtx 660 (display port and UHD monitor) with stock driver and after updating the monitor only shows garbage, any one has this problem?

Lol that update broke my default drivers too I could run my GTX780 with native drivers and now no longer can do that… GJ apple  hahaha I hope this is not an anti hackintosh security update

Should we wait for another apple update and see what happens? Or is there any fix for this driver stuff?

Installed the security update through MAS, once it finally came back online :banghead:. Restarted with nv_disable=1. Updated the web driver through nvidia system pref pane. Restarted and all good.

Made the mistake of installing this without checking here first -- first time in a while I've forgotten. So, of course, having an odd problem on my X58 with Nvidia GForce . The system boots up past the Apple Logo, I can hear the sound card kick in as normal. However, where I would normally get my login screen, I get a plain grey screen with a functioning mouse cursor. The logon never comes up and haven't been able to figure out how to get past it. I have tried booting with "nv_disable=1" and also with "-x -v". Any other ideas?

Before reading this post I installed the update last night and went to bed. I'm running clover. So updates haven't been an issue but this is the first! This morning I booted the system up and at the apple logo my monitors all turned off. Confused I tried again. Anyway I fixed this by booting with boot flag nv_disable=1 downloading the newest nvidia drivers and restarting. Everything is back to normal. But Im curious. Tony posted at the x99 kernel needs patching again? I never did that and it seems to be running ok. Is this nessisary? I'm running i7 5820k and ga-x99-ud4 . Anyone else running this board have to re patch the kernel?

I've got a UD5H and haven't had any issues. Booting into my user, I was prompted with a message saying the default video driver was used and I update the NVIDIA driver and no issues found except something odd going on with the App Store for me. It's not allowing me to update apps but I am yet to confirm whether the two occurrences are related or not.
