Hello, I have just recently purchased an Asus R510LAV-RS51. I am looking to do a dual boot with this laptop it is a Intel core i5, 8GB Ram, 500 HDD, 1.70GHz, Intel HD graphics 4000, and it is running windows 8 64-bit. I am planning on running OSX Yosemite on it. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me if this system will be good enough to be able to do a dual boot. Thank you so much!

According to the specs you provided in post #1, I see nothing unusual.

Thank you. I am now creating my bootable USB and when I am on the installation type step I go to pick Yosemite but it is grey and won't let me click on it. I have it installed not sure what is happening.

What do you mean by "it installed"?

You first have to download Yosemite from the Mac App Store, such that the installer is in /Applications.

Yes I just installed it from the App Store. But still when I go into unibeast all options for software are greyed out. I'm really not sure tpwhat to do

What is the output of:
Code:
# in Terminal
ls -l /Applications

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Well I'm not having an issue with my PC I'm having an issue with unibeast on my Mac. I cannot go to click on any of the OS in the app when it gives me the option. I have Yosemite installed from the App Store I just cannot figure it out.

Read post #8. Provide output requested.

Please fill out your profile. A quick google search on your laptop model reveals it is Haswell.

You should be using Clover instead of Unibeast/Chimera as is detailed/recommended in the FAQ.
