Hope someone can help me to fix my problem.

I have installed Yosemite with Clover bootloader. Almost everything is working correctly on the Notebook I have in firma.

For the bluetooth function I normally use an USB dongle with a Broadcom chip BCM20702A0.

The dongle is correctly recognized within the USB devices but I don't have any bluetooth functionalities.

I tried to search into this forum but didn't find anything usefull.

Any idea how to fix?

Thanks

Perhaps the BT chip needs a firmware uploader.

Great RehabMan,

Following your suggestion I have my Bluetooth dongle working now.

One more question please!!

I'm now trying to have the handoff functions working.

Continuity is ok and I can answer/make cellular call and SMS from my Hackintosh, but not the Handoff.

Searching this site I have found two possible alternatives:

1) a Clover solution using a patch to modify the feature flags on the bluetooth module and enable Instant Hotspot and Hand-off described here http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/1...cards-pcie-mini-pcie-adapters.html#post915393

2) the second is to use the
Continuity Activation Tool 2.0.
I have already try the first solution without any result (using also different codes).

What is your advice?

Thanks again for your help

You mean these steps:

BT Handoff (10.10 and newer)

  1. Requires AirPortBrcm4360 WiFi Support and BT4LE
  2. Patches/Credit: Dokterdok (Select one)
    1. 10.10.2 and newer, Handoff (working)/Hotspot (not tested)
      1. Binary patch: IOBluetoothFamily

        2. Replace: 41 BE 0F 00 00 00 EB 59
  3. Installation (Select one method)
    1. Clover/kext patch
      1. Download (View Raw)
        1. 10.10.2 and newerconfig-bcm94352-102.plist.zip

Yup.

Maybe I'm really stupid, but it seems to me that step 2.1.1 and 3.1.2 are the same.

Both requires to find and replace the same figures in IOBluetoothFamily.kext. I have already done this with no result.

Or it is necessary to find/replace all the instances in all the kexts indicated in the config-bcm94352-102.plist?

Maybe that it is not running because I have AirPortBrcm4331.kext loaded instead of AirPortBrcm4360?

Step 2.1.1 identifies the action that needs to be taken.

3.1.1 and 3.1.2 describe two different ways of accomplishing the action.

Both requires to find and replace the same figures in IOBluetoothFamily.kext. I have already done this with no result.

If you still don't see handoff/hotspot supported in System Information, then you haven't done it correctly.

It is best to use a patch in config.plist and leave the kext on disk vanilla.

Maybe that it is not running because I have AirPortBrcm4331.kext loaded instead of AirPortBrcm4360?

Bluetooth has nothing to do with WiFi.
