(ASUS X450JF) Install Upgrade Yosemite using Clover

Hi guys ..

I tried to install upgrade yosemite osx using clover ..

I create installer follow this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...oting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover-uefi.html after making installers , turn off the laptop .
Plug the usb installer , get into the bios on boot option I put the usb installer Osx Yosemite in the first position , save and restart .
After clover bootscreen appears select Boot OS X Install from the Install OS X Yosemite, install screen appears select install OS X ( upgrade or install a new copy of OS X ) , in the disk options I choose mavericks disk ( without formatting the disk ) and install.
I get three times the restart before going to the yosemite desktop with a normal boot.

Install process work smoothly.

Intel HD4600.

and successfully work ..thanks.
but I always have problems when intel hd4600 worked well, this happened since osx mavericks.
if restarting osx, clover bootscreen always not visible..
is this normal .. ?
if not , how to solve it..?

DSDT.
I can not put dsdt into a clover patched folder as this would make my battery status error .. ! so without dsdt in clover patched folder , the battery status is working normally, this is also the case since in osx mavericks .
I do not know where the fault .. ?

for this I tried to make some sort of modification experiment SSDT ( based toleda SSDT hdmi ) and move the some scope DSDT to SSDT ( SSDT - 4.aml in me ) and it seems to work and loaded...

PHP:

whether this way been allowed ?

Alc269_VC my soundcard , trying to patch dsdt to appleHDA natively , the problem is I do not find the layout id with ALC269 codec ( 0x10ec0269 = 283 902 569 ) in native appleHDA .
So I roolback install appleHDA mavericks that I downloaded , and it worked.
Hdmi not tested.
Still trying to make native appleHDA work , still failed.

Need someone , especially sir Rehabman .... to check my system .
I need your advice to make a better system.

Sounds like a BIOS problem. (backlight? check with bright light).

Shutdown for restart as a workaround.

There is no native support for PC codecs in vanilla AppleHDA. Thus why we patch it.

Bios problem , it seems so..
check with bright light is not visible anything...just black.

although I had a problem it actually restart can be done .... press the enter key in a black screen position, can get into the screen with progress bar , before entering desktop display .

The new extract DSDT / SSDT with Clover F4 , solves this problem ...thanks.

The only condition that would cause this is improperly configured graphics injection on OS X...

and if...

Clearly, the OS X drivers are initializing the graphics device in a way that the BIOS doesn't expect.

If you can determine what the problem is, you could correct for it in _PTS in DSDT.

No idea. The source for AppleHDA is not available.

-Inject graphic in ssdt igpu ((igpu) Haswell HD4600 Yosemite)...ok, its works.
-Shutdown fix in dsdt
-Shutdown fix v2 in other dsdt
This has not helped , bios screen/bootscreen still does not appear .

Searching in google and did not find anyone with the same problem ..
I could just copy and paste DSDT patch code from their talk about problems shutdown , restart , sleep ..and to create a patch code DSDT / SSDT own , I have not been able to do and really do not understand .

Possibility ,,
injection graphic intelHD makes loading display/graphic bios/bootscreen failed or ignored or non activated ....maybe....and i don't know how to re activate it.

You would have to understand much more about how the IGPU device works. There is no existing patch for the issue you have, although I have heard of other laptops having the same problem.

I continue to learn and try to patch applehda .... still not fully understood , especially in the node id ... so complicated for me .
but I am sure one day be able to do it ...... for while I install applehda of maverick .

The next step I tried to get hdmi sound ....

Are you sure? From ioreg, it looks like it is working...

Maybe you need FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext. My u430 has a recognized HDAU (0a0c), so I don't know what an ioreg looks like with an unrecognized ID. You can always try it -- it can't hurt.

Install FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext ... there is still no sound hdmi.
look at ioreg AppleHDAEngineOutput even disappear.
