Read the stickies here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-laptop-support/

I Looked Over all of the stickies but i need some specific information. i feel as though there is some information im missing. on the clover install at what point do you get the necessary drivers for your specific hardware. Also where do i find the essential kexts. what needs to be done in order for the operating system to utilize my hardware with the correct drivers without any issues i just need to know how to get this done because im very interested. i have read over the installation guide multiple times. i also was wondering can you use a Virtual Machine to set up clover or does it have to be a mac.

I should have all of my hardware in my profile if that can be of any help.

General procedure is to get started by installing. Then testing to see what isn't working...

Can You use a Virtual Machine to set up clover?

Also once installed and i see what isnt working. how do i go about installing the patches to fix them. what method do i use.

You need a working hack or Mac to download OS X. So... just use the same Mac/hack to prepare your USB installer.

Please read the FAQ.

Post EFI/Clover folder you're using.

I finally got it to boot into clover and i selected the drive with the installation media and the the apple loading bar screen came up and it finished loading and when it completed it sat at a grey screen with the spinning wheel for an entire hour. know what might be going on? i restarted and tried to boot again with clover and repeat the process and it is staying at the grey screen with the spinning wheel again :beachball:
