Hi there

I had a problem with Yosemite, therefore I wanted to reinstall it. But my bootable usb become corrupted for some reason. Therefore I could not install Yosemite again. I thought to install Snow Leopard first before upgrading to Yosemite again but the problem is as soon as the DVD starts installing, the panic stats and everything stuck. ...



I'll highly appreciate if anyone can help.

Since at this stage , you are actually trying to Install Snow Leopard and Not Yosemite, my suggestion is to make your post at Snow Leopard Support. In the mean time you may try to boot your SL DVD with the boot flags -v -x -f and see if the SL DVD will boot without KP (probably due to ATI Radeon kext) to the Installation screen for you to install it on your HDD or Boot with -s and do terminal editing to back up or delete the offending ATI-Radeon kext from Extensions.

I finally managed to install SLeopard but after instaling MBeast, I am having panic agin during restart. I removed ATI-Radeon kext from Extensions from safe mode but no improvement.

I'll appreciate any suggestion.
