So here is my new build

Yosemite 10.10.3
Intel i7 290k
Msi z97 Gaming 5
Kingston 16GB Kit (2x8GB)1866MHz
480 GB SSD

I have follow the Tonysbuild Guide here

http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html

Using the configuration of tloc623's Guide here:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/158358-success-msi-z97-gaming-5-i5-4690k-clover.html

I am using Clover v2 r2973 (as I've heard the most recent release has issues with booting) which is the exact release in the guides. Using a 16 Gb USB 3.0 to install. Trying to install 10.10.3.

I get through the process of booting past the clover boot selector, format SSD, go to install (it takes 6 minutes) but it never restarts or shuts down like the guide suggests. I shut the machine down myself and continue the process, making a recovery partition, but I am unable to boot into the installed SSD and it does not show up in the Clover menu.

Below are the logs for 'Errors only' and 'All logs'.

I have been trying this for around 3 days now, and tried multiple configurations and wait times and It says 6 minutes, but I usually leave it for 20 Min. Just under an hour the other day

Call me old fashion or quirky but at this stage, I wouldn't use a USB 3.0 Drive plugged into a 3.0 port for the installation, these drives and ports at installation are more prone to corrupted or missed data. Play safe and use a 2.0 USB Drive plugged into a 2.0 port for the initial installation - Good Luck.

Thank you for the replies guys I will give it a go and update!

Please remember in the 2nd stage of the installation, it may say about a minute left but it can actually take another 30 minutes to complete the installation and then reboot, just leave it and let it do its thing - Good Luck.

Tried the 2.0 drive couldn't hack it, just kept getting stuck in EFI Shell.

Tried Uni-Beast still a no go. Formatted SSD Mac OS X (Journaled), went into Yosemite Installation, recieved Cannot install Essentials.Pkg. Tried booting with - no-zp still received same error.
