I've been having trouble re-installing Yosemite on my computer. I had it running reasonably well for a couple of months, but recently the hard drive became corrupted and was no longer able to boot. I suspect that this might have been caused by a graphics issue as Youtube videos tended to suffer distortion.
I have connected an external USB hard drive to the computer and have installed Yosemite using Unibeast. I'm hoping to be able to get the data off of the corrupted hard drive in the computer before I reformat it.
The problem I have now is that I have been unable to boot into the desktop. The computer hangs at either Missing Bluetooth Controller or Resetting IOCatalogue, which I assume indicates a problem with the GPU. I've tried hundreds of different combinations of boot arguments, but can't find one that will let me get into the desktop.
Can anyone help?
