Hey everyone. This is my first time experimenting with a hackinstosh.

I got a bit of a problem and would like your help please.

I have installed Yosemite and restarted my system. I then booted from the USB again as per the guide and installed multibeast, no issues there.

The Problem:
When I reboot my system and remove the USB stick, I get a black screen with the text saying:
"Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot Device and press a key"

I can not advance pass this screen. I have re-inserted the USB stick and tried and it still will not boot from the Hard Drive.

It will boot from the memory stick to give me the option to re-install the OS and boot Yosemite, but if I choose to boot Yosemite, I just get kernal panic or an issue about memory allocation.
EDIT: I can boot successfully from the USB Stick into the OS, but I still can not boot without it.

I initially thought my install got corrupted so I formatted the drive and did another re-install and got the same issue.

Can I have some help please? Thanks.

My system specs:
Intel Core i5 4690k
ASRock Z97 Extreme4
16GB DDR3 1866MHz Ram
Gigabyte GTX 970 - Not in use, using iGPU at the moment
250GB HDD

What are the options selected on multibeast ??

I just found out I can boot into the os with no issue using the memory stick, but if I try to boot without it I get the same message.

I don't know what options to really select in multibeast.
I know I need the ALC1150 audio and the ethernet worked first time since it is an Intel Chipset.
For the DSDT, I selected DSDT Free since it is a Z97 board with a UEFI Bios.

What other options should I need?

BTW, thanks for the quick response and help.

So I just re-tried installing multibeast and I have now encountered yet another error.
It reads as
"Memory allocation error! Addr: x0x8100008, Size: 0x514, File: free, Line: 0"
"This is a non recoverable error! System HALTED!!!"

I think I'm gonna call it today as I can't take much more right now.
Ill pick it up tomorrow sometime.

Are you able to see the Chimera boot loader screen??

I can reach the Chimera boot loader on the memory stick, but without it, its a no go. Then when I try to boot the OS through the memory stick I just get the previous error.

Memory stick means your installation media (i.e., Bootable USB created with Unibeast). Am i right??

While installing Multibeast have you selected the option "Bootloaders > Chimera v4.0.1" ??

Yes, my unibeast installer, sorry got the two mixed up. When going through multibeast I have selected the latest boot chimera boot loader

If you had selected the Chimera then you should be able to boot too.

Unplug all other HDDs/SSDs and connect only the OS X HDD/SSD to the first 3Gbps SATA port (Lowest Numbered Port).

Then try booting from HDD.

I just tried it, got no result. So I have made sure this is the only drive plugged in and am trying another re-install.
