Hi Guys,

Just set up my first Hackintosh with Unibeast and a recommended build from this site, and as expected, it didn't go smoothly. I'm getting the "missing bluetooth controller transport!" error, which sounds like a GPU issue, according to what I've been reading, but i have no clue how to modify? Delete? The kext that is messing with me!

I've tried nearly all the boot flags, even safe mode is not doing anything. I've also tried the commands that many

Any advice Here? Anyone else have a EVGA GeForce GTX 750?

Should I just be using clover? This is a bad time.

Thanks.

Connect monitor to one of the Digital Output port (DVI/HDMI), avoid VGA and converters.

Try booting with flag "nv_disable=1 GraphicsEnabler=No IGPEnabler=No -f -v"

If the booting stuck with messages on screen then post a clear photo of the entire screen.

Thanks for the help Jithin.

Using the flags you mentioned, the screen hung on the bluetooth error for a minute (see attached screed), then I was able to go ahead and install Yosemite on my solid state.

After booting to the installation on the solid state issuing no flags), it hung again half way through boot. I then issued the same flags, and after hanging on the bluetooth error for a few minutes, started up the OS. I got all the way to the account creation, and hung at a pinwheel when i clicked continue.

Will i need to issue these flags every time i boot?

Any insight is appreciated!

Not at all.

OK - thanks to you, I got Yosemite installed, and Multibeast going, but upon restart, I'm getting a kernel panic (i actually attached a screen this time) - looks like im in the infamous infinite loop, but can't find any good resources on remedying that. Any ideas? I'm usually seeing the panic with just the "p" but also received the second full error attached. I have booted -x and -f with the same result.

Thanks again man.

Update your build's hardware details under Profile > Basic Information section in the below format (Profile link is available on the upper right side of this website).

System : Motherboard + Bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU : Detailed CPU Model
Graphics : All Graphics Devices

For Example,
System : GA-EP43T-USB3 (Chameleon)
CPU: Intel Quad Core Q8400
Graphics : ZOTAC GeForce 240GT

What are the options you had selected while installing multibeast??

Honestly I forget the options i chose, and should've taken a pic (dont know how to see these options without getting into Yosemite). I chose 3rd party SATA, and went with DSDT-Free. The odd thing is that there seemed to be only one option under graphics - a patch, that I also enabled. One of those 2 may be the culprit.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Oh, and profile updated.

I think you had selected the Generate CPU State Option.

So boot with USB again, and re run multibeast.

Note :- Do not select Generate CPU Sates

Thanks - so that I understand correctly, when I boot from the USB, am i partitioning the drive again? Or just going through the setup process to access Multibeast? When I build from the USB, are those settings being pushed to the build on my destination drive that I will eventually boot from altogether? Or am I basically reformatting entirely?

Also, is it uncommon to have only one selection in the graphics section of Multibeast? Is my card just being recognized? Seems concerning to me.

i.e to change my Multibeast settings, will I need to format the drive every time, or just go through setup, and build?

Thanks again your help has been invaluable.
