Hello folks and friends,

I can't get my acutal hackintosh config to work. System spec looks like the following:

GigaByte GA-X79-UP4 (Socket 2011)
Intel Core i7 4930k (6core)
NVidia GTX 560 (for installing)/GTX 980 for future use (if everything else is up and running)

I used Clover to install the System with the following boot option:
-v kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x2000 cpus=1

I could install yosemite 10.10.2 without any problems, afterwards I installed Clover with EFI only option to my newly installed partition. Copied ethernet, fakeSMC and nullCpuPowerManagement to kext/10.10 folder, copied the prepared tonymacx86 config.plist for nvidia support to the EFI partition.

After restarting and booting from the newly installed harddrive with these boot parameters:
kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x2000

the system keeps rebooting after kernel panic. The only way to startup is with cpus=1 option. Can anyone help me out? What is the problem? I use nullcpupowermanagement, so I guess my 6 core CPU should work without ssdt or am I wrong here?

greetings,
smoothny

If you are using CLOVER then no need to use NullCPUPowerManagement.kext. CLOVER can patch the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. You remove the kext NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and try to boot.

Still isn't working, it keeps freezing somewhere in the boot process (after Intel Ethernet init). But it boots with cpus=1 still, any other suggestions? What SMBIOS should I use? At the moment I'm running with MacPro6,1, because its the only Mac with the same CPU socket (2011). Are there any other tips for configuring the config.plist? I'm using the tonymacx86 nvidia prepared one, with the modifierd SMBIOS settings.

Install "VoodooTSCSync.kext" (After downloading the kext change the IOCPUNumber in the Info.plist with your number of CPUs. (Counting starting from 0)). I think this will solve your issue. And enable Intel Virtualization Technology in BIOS if you had disabled it (Note: VT-D and Intel Virtualization are different, VT-D should be in disabled state.)

As per my understanding, the name (MacPro6,1) change will not give any plus points.

Which graphic card you are using currently (NVidia GTX 560/GTX 980) ??

That totally did the trick! Thanks mate!

Running the GTX 560 at the moment, because the nvidia web driver won't install, cause it says it couldn't on my maschine. Have to figure this out now. :)

Ok, changed SMBIOS to MacPro5,1 so I was able to install die NVidia Web Driver and my GTX980 is finally running. But what isn't working is my 2nd monitor. System info also says Graphics: "unknown 0 MB" Any suggestions on this? :)

After installation of web driver for GTX980 use the flag "nvda_drv=1" for booting.

It did so automatically, the boot flag is set already but It does not work. :(

The NVIDIA graphics injection should be disabled in your config.plist

You're a genius! Now all displays work and the sys info is correct!

Just one problem left... after waking up from sleep, all usb ports are disconnected. Is there a solution yet?
