Hi all,

Firstly i should preface that i have limited knowledge of this process..my first hackintosh was an HP pro using the "premade" installer and it went great..but this time not so..

I have put together this computer from scratch using the buyers guide:

H97M-D3H LGA1150 Bios Ver F5
i5-4590 LGA1150
Samsung 840 evo 120 (windows still on drive)
2 x gskill Ram f3-1600c11s-8gnt

I followed (i think) : mga1981's Build: Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H - Xeon 1241v3 3.5GHz - GTX 760 2GB
http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...eon-1241v3-3-5ghz-gtx-760-2gb-matx-build.html

I also pulled 1 stick of ram out...

I tried various flags but decided it might be better to start from scratch with you clever folks !

Any help would be hugely appreciated !

I've been running the HD3 for over a year now with an i7 4790k, up to 10.10.3 with no problems. I just updated from f6 bios to f7 and stuck at logo too. Was able to get in a couple times in verbose mode, but it always stops at en1 wi-fi adapter. I have a newer broadcom apple wi-fi card that I had planned to put in. Try updating to f6, but don't update to f7, says there is no way to go back from that bios. Hopefully I can get it to work in f7, if not, may need a new board, or way to go back to f6.

Load optimized defaults and disable vt-d. (Will not boot past logo without it disabled.) I overlooked this when resetting my bios settings, f7 seems to work okay for now, but since f6 bios is better optimized for vid cards than f5, I would update that too.

Remember that your i7-4790K processor has VT-d and this setting may need to be disabled again when you update the UEFI/BIOS.

Edit : I see that you have just done this.

Great to see things are up and running !

Ive solved most my problems too...

All but one:

I'm using my integrated graphics card, but for some reason i have a problems with things like videos online not displaying and safari not displaying properly.

Any ideas?

Thanks alot.
