Hi There

Im new to Hackintosh, and try to install this System.

Somehow I stuck with "Waiting for root device" See Picture.

I tried several flags like -x USBBusFix=Yes, ahcidisk=8 debug=8 GraphicsEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No dart=0 etc.

somehow it does not affect anything.
The USB-Stick is in USB 3 Port, in USB 2 i do get a lot of more problems and get stuck much earlier.

The Display is in VGA somehow DVI did not work for Bios and Chimera.

Can anybody help or assist?
Does my Mobo support Mackintosh?

Thank you

BPO

The flash drive should be in a USB2 port.

VGA is not supported - Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI.

Good Luck

Ok,

but then it stucks here. I also tried several flags, but can't get further.

Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!

Now i could solve the Dead Beaf Error and get this screen now.

I took out one Ram on second slot.
Flags used where: -v -x maxmem=4096 -no-zp

That seems to be a graphics issue.
How are you connected to your monitor ?
VGA is not supported.

Ok this could be the VGA issue. I still have the VGA Port active.

The Problem I have neither DVI than HDMI works. Can i Activate the DVI or the HDMI in Bios, or should this work right by the way? I could not find any settings in Bios.

At the moment i tried different monitors and Cables with no effect.
Could it be there is a defect on Mobo or the CPU, or does the CPU not support DVI/HDMI on this board?

From Specs at Gigabyte it should work...

DVI and HDMI should both work.

In your BIOS set Initial Display Output to IGFX
Intel Processor Graphics to Enabled

I found a HDMI to DVI Cable that works an I did get the Installer!!!

I hope I can get trough Multibeast easy!

Thanks a lot Man!

Just another Question,

i have a Problem getting the LAN Controller running.

Multibeast has 3 Options. i tried all and had no chance to get the building LAN Network running.
The Mobo has Realtek GBE Controller, wich I can't find in the List, because i do not know the exact type.

I tried to install the original Realtek Driver for PCI Express GBE which had the Effect, that the Panel under System Preferences will quit when open it.

Does anyone know how to get the LAN running under Yosemite?

Thanks BPO!
