Hello everyone, that is my guide to successfully install OS X Yosemite for the Asus P7P55D-E LX. I don't use iMessage and FaceTime therefore I don't know work it or not.

My config: Asus P7P55D-E LX (1602 BIOS), i5-760, Geforce GTX 650, PLEXTOR PX-128M5Pro.

Installation:
1. BIOS
1.1. Main>Storage Configuration. Configure SATA as > AHCI
1.2. Advanced>Onboard Devices Configuration. Marvell SATA Controller > AHCI Mode
1.3. Power > Suspend Mode > S3 Only
1.4. VT-x/VT-d > disable2. Create bootable usb and install Yosemite using installation guild.
3. Download MultiBeast - Yosemite 7.X.
4. Install MultiBeast with these options:

Note 1: if you not have SSD disable option TRIM Enabler
Note 2: if you have FullHD Monitor enable option 1080p Display Mode
5. Go into System/Library/Extensions folder and delete the following kext file: VoodooHDA.kext.
6. Install VoodooHDA.kext from attachments using KextBeast.
Note: thank lexone for VoodooHDA.kext.
7. Launch Disk Utility and repair permissions on the drive.
8. Reboot and Enjoy.

PS: I use this guide as base. Thank lexone.

----CLOVER----

If you have some problem with MultiBeast install mac using this guide.
My config.plist and kexs in attachments (CLOVER.zip).
If you need TRIM Enabler install it from MultiBeast.
If you have kernel panic after install kexs, boot with option: UseKernelCache=No
If you have problem with black screen, you need boot with option: nv_disable=1 and install NVidia Web Driver.

works realy great on my System

- Asus P5P55D (Bios 2101)
- i5 750
- 8GB Ram
- Samsung EVO 840 256gb
- Nvidia 660GTX

The 660GTX don't need GraphicsEnabler=Yes

sound works, thank's

Thank you for posting this. I have the -E Pro and I kept getting stuck (after running MultiBeast profiles/kexts and upon restart without the USB) at the Apple start up screen. Progress bar would make it 1/3 of the way and then just freeze. I was using DSDT from the database here with latest and matching BIOS. I'm going to try the DSDT free option you have listed here and see if that works.

Ok I did a fresh install with the DSDT free method and the same thing happened that did with my DSDT on my first try. The very first time I boot from my Yosemite hard drive post MultiBeast/kext install it works perfectly but as soon as I restart or shut down and try it again from the hard drive it freezes up about a 1/3 of the way through on the apple screen progress bar. Don't know what the issue is. I'll try in verbose mode and see if I can tell what is going on. Not sure why it would work once and then not again.

Brainshole, Try load CastoMac using different boot options, for example npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000.
My CastoMac loads using following options:
Code:
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x2000</string>

Thank you for the help. I tried using the boot flags npci=0x2000 and npci=0x3000 but I still got stuck at the same point. I booted using -v for the boot flag and got this...? USB problem? never had this on any of my past builds snow leopard through mavericks

Yes, sleep works and exit from sleep works with the boot option:
Code:
darkwake=0
I don't have a USB3 flash but USB3 ports works with a USB2 flash.
