I'm trying to update Windows 10 (on my dual-boot Hackintosh) to the November update.

Windows Update finds the update, begins to install it, then gets to the point where it reboots my PC. It reboots to Clover, and I select the bootable Windows partition, and the screen goes blank...

And then a few seconds later it reboots again. I select the bootable Windows partition again, and it boots back into Windows 10 without the update installed.

Could this be a Clover problem? Does Windows want me to reboot into a different partition?

When updating/upgrading Win10 disconnect all other drives so Win10 boots by itself. It does not "like" being booted with a different boot loader during updates. This causes errors and it hangs on reboot.

Thank you! I managed to install by having the Media Creation Tool set up a USB flash drive for me, and then I installed from that; each time the computer rebooted, I held F12 and selected the USB drive to boot from. That successfully got me through the install.

Usually how I updated my windows partition was to disconnect my OS X boot drive. Figured I would try just updating without and see how it worked, having recently switched to Clover EFI booting. Updated to the latest build released last week and it went through and updated just fine booting up with clover. Not sure if having EFI booting made it work this time, but it was nice not having to disconnect my main drive.
