After much reading and research, I purchased the AW-CE123H for its compatibility with OS X, and also because it's suppose to work under Windows, for both WIFI and BT. I've installed this card on my Probook 450 G1, set everything up with Yosemite (using clover and probook installer), all seems to be working fine. WIFI works (I can connect to my network and surf with no issues), I was able to do an airdrop transfer between Yosemite and my iPhone, so I'm assuming BT is also working (instructions says it requires BT and WIFI???), I always get the Bluetooth keyboard/mouse pairing window when starting Yosemite etc. I don't actually have a BT keyboard or mouse yet, so can't really test full BT functionality.
After all was setup in Yosemite I installed Windows 7, and this is where my problem begins: in Device Manager I see the WIFI chip and have installed the drivers for it, they work fine (I connect fine). However no Bluetooth chip is found; it doesn't even show up in device manager. I've tried toggling the WIFI switch a couple times, no go, installing various drivers, no go; I tried installing the BT package from BC's site, but the software won't install because it can't find a compatible BT chip.
What could be causeing this issue? It's as if Yosemite sees and uses the card's BT, but windows Can't even see it or detect that it's there; the BT is enabled in BIOS, I even toggled that to see if it would change anything, also did a scan for hardware from device manager, nothing. Could it be that BT functionality is really broken even though Yosemite seems to think it's there? I used the BC patch in PBI-CE to enable BT. I should also mention that the original Intel card that the laptop comes with has BT as well, and windows does see that when I install it (I wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem with the laptop or socket).
If anybody has any ideas/suggestions, I'm all ears!
