Purchase a Window install DVD and boot with it. Select your HDD/SSD at the first screen, click on advanced, click on each partition on the drive and delete it. Click on format, click on continue and install.

Is there any way I can install Windows 10 on my hackintosh (as this thread suggests) but without loosing any of the data on my drive?
This thread is to destroy OS X install and go back to Windows. Of course you will destroy everything on the drive when you do that.

After I format and install Windows, do I have to change anything on the BIOS or anywhere ??

I'm selling my desktop Hackintosh and the buyer will be using Windows (he is my buddy so I want to give him a working windows machine).

At the moment I'm backing up everything onto a few external drives and just want to fully format the OS drive to install Windows 8.

Thank you

Changes to BIOS should be made before installing Windows, not after.

If it will never be used for OS X, boot to BIOS and set optimized defaults, save&exit and continue boot.

Whether you make any other changes depends on if you want to customize the Windows install - UEFI boot only instead of Legacy for one thing - this may require a BIOS setting that is not default depending on your BIOS/UEFI
