Sometimes screen flickers for a very short time.
What was this thing about framebuffer?

@longtom

Your cinebench scores look good. I don't have any flickering, but I'm using a different card. The framebuffers are parts of the card's memory that stores graphics before output.

System does not boot loader didn't start.

Any clue? could be due to DVI-VGA adapter ?

There are other frame buffers that you can try. Framebuffer names are:

Alopias
Alouatta
Baboon
Cardinal
Caretta
Colobus
Douc
Eulemur
Flicker
Galago
Gliff
Hoolock
Hypoprion
Iago
Kakapo
Kipunji
Lamna
Langur
Megalodon
Motmot
Nomascus
Orangutan
Peregrine
Quail
Raven
Shrike
Sphyrna
Triakis
Uakari
Vervet
Wormy
Zonalis

I think the default for the 5770 is Vervet. The default for the 5870 is Uakari.

To use an alternative framebuffer, add the following key/string pair to your /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist

<key>AtiFb</key>
<string>Vervet</string>

Or at the Chameleon boot prompt: AtiFb=Vervet

Replace Vervet with a different framebuffer name.

Sapphire HD5770 , working with standard frambuffer(Vervet) on 64 bit.

The ATI 5xx0 cards usually have framebuffers with "monkey" names:

* Uakari
* Vervet
* Baboon
* Eulemur
* Galago
* Hoolok
* Langor
* and so on...
