tonymacx86 and I updated my original post for Updating to Lion 10.7.4 from 10.7.3. viewtopic.php?p=385051#p385051

I added a more generic MB configuration screen snapshot and notes on helper threads by tonymacx86 and MacMan.

will this work for same but with i3 then i5 or i7 on 10.7.4 update

Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion

i3 SB processors are not affected by the limits, as well as all the 1st gen i3/i5/i7 processors (see Batman build description). So, they don't need a SSDT which is why you don't see an SSDT for an i3 processor.

Do you have a Z68X-UD3H mobo?

yes running hd 3000 graphics

Then you'll need to check off everything I did except for the SSDT, don't need it. But, since you have a SB mobo, you'll need the rest.

Hi Stork, I have the same mobo as you. Thanks for all of your posts, it really helped with my initial install a while back. Just wondering when going to 10.7.4 did you have to make any changes in bios or just used the multi beast settings? I thought I read somewhere that something needed to be changed in bios. Thanks!

No BIOS changes. I have updated to F12, but that was before 10.7.4 came out. Use my post here viewtopic.php?p=385051#p385051, and you should be good to go.
