Great build. There is a great guide for this build. I have to say I was pretty intimidated at the task at hand (worried about kernal panics, non working features - audio, sleep, networking). The software configuration following the guide was the easiest part of the whole setup (had a DOA MB/which fried the processor with it)!!! Have audio, networking, sleep, migration assistant completed, and a little bit of overclocking done as well.
Some items I learned:
1. Make sure you burn your iBoot image as a bootable disk
2. Be careful what case you get with this build. They are making these video cards the size of a Buick now.
3. Go slow read the instructions many times before acting (I think that helped a ton).
4. This motherboard has a utility that will allow you to update it from a USB key. Get the F5 version and place it on your USB key along with your other files. You need to unzip the F5 file.
5. Get the program Super Duper, it is awesome. it allows you to clone your HDD to another partition or another drive. You can then test any changes you want to make on that before applying changes to your main partition.
