This is not an upgrade! Quick guide for people starting from scratch.

If you are one of the users that got stuck with 10.7.4 and cannot download previous version to use with blueking's HP Installer these steps should get you up and running in no time.

1. Please use Unibeast to create USB drive as per instructions step 1 to 3:
viewtopic.php?p=261985#p261985
copy attached below files: ShowAllFiles, Extra, Chimera to USB drive to have it handy.

2.If you need to add dsdt.aml to /Extra folder (4730S or 1080p) use ShowAllFiles app to make files visible on Unibeast USB drive
ShowAllFiles.app.zip

3. Optional
If you plan to make your Unibeast drive perfect by further customizing it:
adding kext for SD card or already patched kext for audio, network or bluetooth, USB drive needs to accept ownership and permission changes
a. please highlight the USB drive in Finder and go File->Get Info
b. Make sure "Ignore ownership on this volume" is unchecked

4. Install OS
If during setup get question about USB keyboard and don't have one, please follow topic
viewtopic.php?f=259&t=43234
Once you finish installation and boot into your new desktop copy attached Extra folder to the root of the hard drive.
Extra.zip

Install your favorite bootloader:
Chimera

or Chameleon

5. Restart computer without USB drive

If you experience boot0 4K drive errors please boot from Unibeast USB and perform boot sector repair using one of many guides

Now, you should have running 10.7.4 system without audio, bluetooth, WiFi, battery, sleep and so on.

Adding missing kexts.

Use your favorite kext installer or download KextBeast:
viewforum.php?f=125
If using KextBeast copy kexts that you want to install to Desktop. KextBeast will install them correctly to /System/Library/Extensions

1. Make your own or copy premade dsdt.aml to /Extra folder

2. Mandatory kexts
copy from /Extra/Extensions folder to Desktop and use KextBeast

FakeSMC.kext

AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext
ApplePS2Controller.kext (keyboard, mouse, trackpad support)

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext + SSDT.aml (Use patched 10.7.4 kext along with working /Extra/SSDT.aml for your CPU)
or keep NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in /Extra/Extensions as temporary solution

3. Functional kexts

AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext (Adds HDMI, VGA support 10.7.3 version works better)
AppleHDA.kext (Adds audio, HDMI audio)
IO80211Family.kext (WiFi Atheros support)
viewtopic.php?p=372765#p372765

AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext
AppleSmartBatteryManager.kext (battery support and power info)
viewtopic.php?p=368394#p368394

ACPISensors.kext
IntelCPUMonitor.kext (fan, CPU temperature, multiplier info)
http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=358104#p358104

IOath3kfrmwr.kext (Bluetooth support)
http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=346726#p346726

JMB38X.kext
HSSDBlockStorage.kext (JMicron SD card support)
ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/

PXHCD.kext (USB3 support)

RealtekRTL81xx.kext (lnx2mac Ethernet driver)
http://lnx2mac.blogspot.com/p/realtekrt ... river.html
or use original Realtek installer instead
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dow ... wn=false#7

4. If you have PowerManagement working correctly remove content of /Extra/Extensions

5. Research your CPU type and choose correct profile
http://www.everymac.com/systems/by_proc ... -macs.html
i3 users should be better off with MacBookPro8,1 profile

Use premade or Chameleon Wizard to generate SMBios.plist for your profile.
viewforum.php?f=278

6. Before rebooting fix any permission, ownership errors by using Disk Utility- Repair Disk Permissions

update caches by typing in Terminal

Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

7. Wait 2-3 minutes and shutdown computer.

If any problems, reboot from Unibeast USB and perform repairs.

make sure all kexts are coming from here
http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=358104#p358104
(same version and ACPIMonitor.kext patched)

Is your dsdt.aml patched ? Do get any other readings? temperature, fan speed?

Yes, my dsdt is patched with bluekings here, for hd 3000 only. And no I don't get any other reading accept "no sensors found or FakeSMCDevice unavailable"
& Quit HWMonitor.

EDIT: after I installed those kext files you provided it works but now I'm stuck a Min x16, x20, x25, Max x28. So now I think it's the ssdt... Thanks "BD"

Do you have to still disable discrete graphics with the RadeonX.kext?

Hey big donkey, Do you want to collaborate to make a new HP Probook Installer 10.7.4? I have it over half wat done.
tegezee,
I've got really intense four weeks ahead of me, my time will be very limited however If I can contribute somehow I will.

I also noticed this guide viewtopic.php?f=259&t=64202 by malone46844. Some commands posted there could be used to simplify setup.
