I have a GA-Z68XP-UD5 running F5 bios setup. I see the following when I inspect Serial-ATA

Section Intel 6 Series Chipset
Vendor: Unknown
Product: AHCI Standard Controller
Link Speed: 6 Gigabit
Description: AHCI Version 1.20 Supported

Screenshot of what I'm seeing is below:

Can anyone advise as to what kexts to install if there are any?

Thanks,

That is your Marvell 88SE9128 chip that drives your eSATA ports - no OS X driver for it, but at least OS X recognizes it is there and the ports will work.

Thanks for the info. Once booted OSX is lightning fast. However on startup it takes about 60 circles for it to get into OSX. Is there something I could do to speed that up? Not sure why it would be as slow as I'm running on an SSD. And my windows drives are set to not auto mount through /etc/fstab.

old thread..60 circles is too slow for an ssd. Boot up for me is faster on lion than windows 7 with the same ssd. did you figure it out? kernel cache set to yes?
