Please Help, stuck and have been trying for 8 hours!

I am new here, joining and posting today simply because I have been having issues. My vital specs are listed, and I simply cannot figure out why this problem is occuring: please see the attached picture to see what occurs. It is a stop sign-type icon that appears over the apple. Meanwhile, the spinning circle at the bottom, which has been spinning for nearly a minute now, stops, and I have no choice but to power off the computer. Can anyone help, please? I feel like I have literally tried everything!

Can that be the root in and of itself?! Frick my life! So uh, who wants to buy my mobo

Don't do anything rash just yet. What you need to sort out is a DSDT for your mobi. Maybe someone here can help.
You've got the right mobo. It's just that Tony and his merry band of tweakers haven't caught up yet.

So...just be patient and wait it out?

Yeah and run through some of the threads or use search for your board and see if you can snag a user DSDT form somebody as well.

That Wiki page is not up to date! None of the Sandy Bridge mobos is listed on that Wiki page.

The wiki is open for anybody to edit so the people with working hardware you would think could be kind enough to add there stuff into the database.
