Hi,

I'm an italian boy and I'm 15. In my signature you can see my hardware configuration. I've Asus P6T SE, i7 930, GTX 480 and 6 GB RAM.

2 questions:
-What type of hard disk drive should I buy for install Snow Leopard? IDE, SATA... This one is OK? http://www.goldenprice.it/pages/eco...={916A6697-79E5-40E1-9E0D-C1F90DEEF0C0}&buid=

-If I remove 2 GB of RAM to install Snow Leopard and after I return to use 6 GB, should I have any problems?

Sorry for my english, but in Italy we study just a little bit.

You want to go with SATA connection. That HDD you linked should work just fine.
You don't have a DvD listed but SATA for that as well, this kind works good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... _-27118039

As for your ram, yes install Snow Leopard with only 4GB and then after you can put the rest in with no worries.

Thanks a lot! Next week-end I'm installing Snow Leopard, then.
;)

Leonardo.

P.S.: Can I install Final Cut Pro and Adobe suites in my future Hackintosh? Any problems of compatibility?

Yeah you can run any Apple software on your Hack. It's basically an Apple computer just running different hardware :D

Yes that guide will be just fine.

Buy a new install disk, that's all we support here and it's only 30 dollars US.

But, if I find Snow Leopard on the Web, there is only an upgrade version.
I find this, for example: http://store.apple.com/it/product/MAC_OS_X_SNGL . Isn't only an upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard? :?
That's a full version.
It is telling you that you will upgrade from Leopard. That is the full install disk you linked. Snow Leopard its self is an upgrade from Leopard.

So, I can proceed to buy this software...
Thank you.
