Latest and Greatest card for FCP X under $175~ to $250~

I have a XFX 7870 Ghz edition card right now, and it seems like they are going for around $100 used these days. Which the card is pretty good for FCP X IMHO. And here it comes....BUTTTTTTT what is out there in the $175 to $250 new or used market that would blow the 7870 out of the water? Again think openCL for FCP X. I know the R9 290x isn't working yet, but is there anything between the 7870 and the R9 290x's that falls in my price range, or less?

I am also interested into making a video/audio production system. So, are there any GFX card recommended for FCPX and some other for Adobe Premiere Pro ?
