Hi everybody , i'm looking for a build for using final cut pro 7 and color and also after effects and have no idea of which card i should get any idea ?

Thanks

Hey ! thanks for your answer , looks great ! i was thinking about a similar build

So tell me how is it going ? do you have any issues ? is it working good with fcp 7 and after effects ? is it silent ?

I am also thinking about getting a ASUS ThunderboltEX II , is it compatible ?

I also need a firewire 800 card which one should i get ?

Thanks

Hey,

yeah. Everything just works fine. No issues so far and an incredible performance. The case is fu*** silent. If i turn my printer on it is louder than my whole machine. :headbang:

FCP 7 works beside Log&Transfer. After Effects works great.

I guess Asus ThunderboltEX II is only compatible with Asus Boards. But check it again i didnt read so much about the Thunderbolt Topic. eSATA is currently fast enough for my workaround.

Firewire Card Delock 89153 works out of the Box with known performance.

If you have further questions, dont hesitate. :)

Thanks for your answer now i'm sure about building this hackintosh ! I just didn't find The Ram you used in the french amazon do you have an alternative ?

i'm also gonna install 2 or 3 hdd seagate barracuda , is 750w enough ?
I'm gonna use esata too !

Thanks for everything !

Hi!

if you can wait a bit, the price of the 780/780ti will drop as the Haswell's are out....!

;)

I'm sure that few weeks before X-mas a lot of bargains will appear... :headbang:

Salut,

si tu peux attendre, les prix du haut de gamme en 7xx vont chuter (sans doute fin novembre)

suite à la sortie des Gpu en Haswell... ;)

No prob... ;)

Yeah the RAM mentioned in the Buyers Guide works as well.

750W is more than enough. In total I have 8 Hard Drives installed, without any issues.

Greetings and looking forward to hear about your process...

Thanks for everything guys ! i'm gonna wait a little bit and buy all the hardware this month and i'll let you know ! :D :headbang:
