Hey guys, I want to share with you the successful installation of Mac OS X 10.10.3 on thisawesome build.

Although it's a 3 years old build (because of that I didn't put the amazon links), it is 100% working. It even sleeps correctly. I built many hackintosh, but never got this level of stability and, overall, the installation was quite easy, and that's why I'm reporting it.

Installation notes
I just followed the standard guide and installed with UniBeast 5.1, I had some struggle with MultiBeast and [PCI CONFIGURATION BEGIN] hangs, but I got through it with the reported MultiBeast setup. No extra kernel flags required for Chimera, it just boots!

BIOS Settings
I updated the BIOS to the latest version (F9). You have to set BIOS to AHCI mode and HPET to 64bit mode.
Optionally, you can tweak CPU and RAM frequency. On my build I set CPU multiplier to 38x and RAM to 1866MHz with XMP set to profile1 and [extreme] on performance enhance option. I also lowered RAM timings to 8-10-8-25. Seems stable so far, don't want to overclock too much because I don't have a decent cooling system.

Multibeast Settings
Here I used a pre-edited DSDT from the tonymacx86 DSDT Database (see Downloads menu), matching the BIOS version. Here's the build:[/FONT]

The 10.9.5 AppleACPIPlatform Rollback is very important, without it, you will be unable to boot.
Use MacPro3.1 system definition, if you change it, you may have problems.

Starting MultiBeast build: View attachment default-config.mb
Audio rollback for updates: View attachment audio-alc889.mb
Better CPU speed steps:View attachment overclock-ssdt.mb
DSDT: View attachment DSDT-GA-P67A-UD3-B3-F9.aml

(very) Minor Issues
Everything works flawlessly, but RAM frequency is not properly recognized by system info, but it seems to be a known bug with Chimera 4.1.

Hello Lucci,

i have just updated my rig similar to yours to El Capitan.

It looks like everything works just fine, except sleep.
It turns into sleep mode (monitor+computer). When I wake it up the rig wakes up, but the screen stays black...

So I was wondering, if you already tried El Capitan on your P67A :)

greetings
