Background
I decided to build this computer because...

Installation
Most of the installation is same as in this build: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...eon-1241v3-3-5ghz-gtx-760-2gb-matx-build.html

UEFI:
Load Optimized Defaults
Disable VT-d
SATA mode = AHCI
Initial Display Output = IGFX
Set BootModeSelection to Legacy Only
(for screenshots, visit link above)

MultiBeast:
DSDT Free
Audio > Relatek 892
Disk > 3rd party SATA
Disk > Trim patch
Misc > FakeSMC + Plugins + HW Monitor
Misc > USB3.0
Rest is as set by default(Basic Boot Options, Generate CPU States, Hibernate-Desktop, use KernelCache)

Since the Intel GPU with H97 chipset is not yet directly supported, after install, you need to boot into safe mode(-x flag) to complete installation using MultiBeast. You'll also need to install audio and graphics patch:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/134002-quick-fix-onboard-audio-9-series-motherboards-4.html
http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...phics-acceleration-9-series-motherboards.html

Last thing to do is to remove kexts for older Intel cards, because HD4000 kexts will cause kernel panics during boot.
Go to /System/Library/Extensions and move all old drivers to backup folder:
Code:
mkdir intel_back
mv AppleIntelHD3* intel_back
mv AppleIntelHD4* intel_back
(If you are not doing this in single user mode, add sudo in front of every command)

Now you should be done.

If you have problems with network missing, try installing alternative open source kext (can be googled quite easily).
If you have problems with Audio (I had a lot of noise in Chrome Youtube HTML5 player, Flash was fine), try using Woodoo kext as mentioned in thread above.

Last and only problem so far:
After waking from sleep with more then one audio jack connected, the sound is not working and I have to reload the audio kext or replug the audio jack. (The problem occurs both with Realtek ALC892 drivers and Voodoo audio drivers)

UPDATE 24.06.2014: Sound seems to work better with Voodoo kexts (less noise), and I partially fixed the sound issue. The problem occurs only when multiple jacks are pluged in. I have 4.1 speakers, so I have one jack for front and one for back speakers. When I disconnect back speakers, sound works fine even after sleep.
The machine also sometimes fails to wake from sleep when running VirtualBox machines, but I've seen this on genuine Macs before, so it's probably more general problem.

Thank you and mga1981 share this method.
I also use this method successfully on my computer.

My Components
Gigabyte H97M-D3H
Intel i5-4590
Transcend 8G
EVGA GTX 660 2G SC
hitachi 1TB
ODIN 800W

Bios Setting
Disable VT-d
SATA mode = AHCI
Disable Onboard VGA

install use -v GraphiceEnabler=No

After install, first boot occur error. I used memmax=4096 can ignore this problem, after multiBeast install can fixed this problem.

MultiBeast same settings with mga1981 and daemontus.
After multiBeast, the ethernet card is missing, so I install realtek kext from multiBeast.

Only problem:

follow Quick Fix for Intel HD 4600 Graphics Acceleration on 9 Series Motherboards to fixed Onboard Audio, and same happened waking from sleep, the sound is not working.

I'm referring to your approach has been installed.

I have a new problem with it sleep.

Key issues:
Whether automatic or manual sleep, The VGA card fan, CPU fan and power fan are still running.
They would stop the moment (about one second), and automatically up and running.

Could you help solve this problem. Thank you a lot.

I'm not completely sure you are having the same problem as this person, but check out post #8 in this thread.

I hope this helps.

Really excited about finding this thread. Same set up as you, just a 4690 vs the 4790. I tried to troubleshoot all weekend, and kept having issues. I'm going to start from scratch and hopefully get this bad boy up and running. Thanks so much! :D

Well, I am no expert, but I think it should work. However, you should first thoroughly check the graphics card compatibility (interesting thread here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-ad...90x-our-hackintoshes-further-explanation.html).

Are you sure that when installing MultiBeast you didn't select Laptop sleep mode? (I know it's stupid question, but this sometimes happens :))

I have just completed pretty much the same buid except I am using a GT 640 graphics card and a DEvils Canyon 4790k. I will start a new thread once I have finished migrating everything over from my old Mac Pro to the Hackintosh.

Zaminx, that is fantastic news. Looking forward to the thread! I just bought the 4790K and been reading some KP's with this cpu. Hope its just minor issues.
