Hi,

Using a MacBook Pro Retina from Late 2013 on 10.9.4 to run UniBeast 4.0.1 downloaded today.

I've downloaded Mavericks from the App Store two weeks ago and was able to use UniBeast 3 to create an USB stick. I was having some problems getting my rig to boot after installing kexts with MultiBeast. It just hangs so I was reading around and saw that UniBeast updated with newer support. I thought it might be worth while to rebuild my USB stick with 4.0.1 with the updated drivers and flags. Might fix my problems.

So I formatted the same USB (PNY 16GB) as I used with UniBeast 3 with Disk Utility as MBR, 1 partition, Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

Then I started up UniBeast 4.0.1 and let it run just selecting USB and Mavericks. No laptop support and no legacy support.

Then it mounts the volumes like it's supposed to and then gets stuck at "Copying Files"

You can see that the volumes are mounted in Disk Utility.

Console has no messages about UniBeast

Anyone seen this issue? I will also try another USB stick and redownloading Mavericks tomorrow, but this stick was working in the same port before on UniBeast 3...

Thanks!

EDIT:
Or it just took extra long on 4.0.1! It FINALLY finished running after 1 hour of being stuck there. I knew the times were off but, it's always finished around 1/2 an hour for me. Weird!

Yep... That was obvious

I am in the process of creating a 4.0 install USB on a USB 2.0 stick. Should take a while. ;)

It just seemed odd that I created 10.9.4 using the same computer, usb stick, usb port using UniBeast 3 in under 30 minutes.

I have to agree, I am using the same USB stick and computer to run a clean install again on my hackintosh...used to take 15 minutes, still waiting at 45 minutes.....

I'm having the same problem but i looked at my usb, and it has extracted a lot of files, and that's at least 5 gb and then it has to have windows support and everything, maybe you should just leave it for a while, it seems like the app is doing a lot of work
