UniBeast Failure: 'Could not mount InstallESD, exiting' (w/ freshly downloaded of OS X Mavericks)

Hi, (Note: all hardware info and install.log at the bottom)

Y'all make great tools, and I've been using them to build and maintain several different Hackintosh boxes for several years.

I'm pretty much at my wits end with this UniBeast failure. I have downloaded OS X Mavericks from the App Store 7 different times now.

Procedure as follows:
1. Delete any prior Install OS X Mavericks downloads
2. Empty Trash
3. Format UniBeast install media (1 MBR partition, OS X Extended Journaled)
4. Reboot
5. Download Mavericks from App Store
6. Quit installer after download is complete
7. Activate UniBeast

The problem seems to be with the InstallESD disk image. However, I've tried to download a fresh version of Mavericks to correct this, with no success. Any thoughts?

The only solutions I have heard for this were as follows:

Manually mount InstallESD.dmg to see if it will mount. If it does then unmount it and run UniBeast again. Doing this sometimes will fix the checksum error.

The other solution was to change DNS servers and download it again.

Thanks much. I downloaded again using the Google DNS servers mentioned in a similar post (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.8.4), but to no avail.

The .dmg won't mount without skipping the verification, but if I do skip the verification, Disk Utility indicates that the permissions are all in order.

If you've got any idea on how to download a valid Mavericks from the App Store, please do tell.

Sorry there are no other solutions. It sounds like maybe there is something in your download chain that is corrupting the download.
