UniBeast Can't Find USB

I have UniBeast 5.0.1 and I am trying to update from Mavericks to Yosemite. No matter what i seem to do though, UniBeast will not find my USB, which is a Seagate 500GB external hard drive formatted to exactly as the guide says. UniBeast 4 did this aswell, but UniBeast 3 didn't. I really need some help on this, as I do not have any other drive I could turn into a bootable USB.

UniBeast can only be used with a volume that is 64GB or less.

Thank you so much. I just did two partitions, one as 10GB Mac OSX Extended and the other as 490GB of free unallocated space. UniBeast found the drive right away!
