Hey guys, definitely a noob problem, I'm running 10.7.2 on an i5-2500k in a GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 and I just got my Belkin N300. I loaded the RTL8192SU driver for 10.7.2 and restarted, and now my system won't boot with the adapter plugged in, I get the white Mac screen, then the screen goes bright white and stays. It boots if I unplug the adapter, but I still get no internet connection. Am I missing something?? :banghead:

For a cheap alternative for the real airport card is the TP-Link TL-WN781ND PCI-Express card, it uses the Atheros 9285 chipset. No need for a third party utility. Using it on my Lion hack 64bit.

So that works through the Airport? Or a third party app?

Yes just install the IO80211Family.kext for atheros 9285, OSX will see the card as AirPort Extreme and you will have the wifi icon in the menu bar like a real mac.

No need for a third party app, all the settings are done within OSX.
