The last piece of my system I wanted to get working was bluetooth since I wanted to get a Magic Trackpad. After researching what bluetooth usb controller to get I was left without answers. Some people recommended one while others another.

I went to my local Best Buy and noticed that their Rocketfish USB Bluetooth adapter is currently on clearance. Originally it was $35 but now on clearance for only $7. So I bought it and a Magic Trackpad.

Unpack everything, insert Bluetooth adapter, OS X Lion recognizes it immediately. Magic Trackpad works 100% with it. I didn't need to load any other kexts, no file editing, nothing. Everything just worked out of the box.

I don't know if this specific adapter will be on clearance at every Best Buy but if you have one near you it's worth a look. I also do not know if it works under Snow Leopard because I never tried it.

    Here's the model: Rocketfish RF-FLBTAD
