ML: UEFI HDMI audio, no dsdt edits

Hi Toleda,

Out of curiosity alone (for the moment)... Do you know how the airplay video feature is being handled on the nMP? In the past it has seemed tied to quicksync of the Intel HD iGPU but obviously since the nMP has no such iGPU and i can't imagine they released it without airplay support, FaceTime video compression etc. Just wondering if you had looked into it yet.

Also FWIW i should be getting full, ongoing access to the nMP by end of month and am happy to run any sorts of tests or provide dumps, etc.

HD4000 is disabled in BIOS, nothing shows until it is enabled. VIA 2021 onboard audio is not supported. GT 640 Is the only audio codec supported and it is working.

Thanks I got it working

Hello,
my system:

Intel Core i5 3570K
ASRock Z77 Pro3
Intel HD 4000
10.9.1

I followed the instructions but HDMI audio still isn't working.
I didn't use any DSDT ever.

There are two AppleIntelFramebuffer for me, ports 0x6 and 0x7, but there is only HDMI plugged in. Should I still patch the framebuffer? Will this fix my problem?

Thanks!

Tried it with another method: https://github.com/toleda/audio_hdm...uide]-UEFI-hdmi_audio_dsdt_edits_v2.1.pdf.zip

Now it is working! Thank you very much for all these great tutorials!
