What's the busratio of i5 760 and i7 875k?
You don't need that when using iBoot Supported and upgrade 10.6.4.
But you do need that when installing a retail 10.6.3 thou, if you don't set busratio your system restarts. Correct me if i'm wrong, but it's a bootloader issue that's been fixed in RC5 with automatic busratio detection.

Because iBoot Supported has the 10.4.0 Vanilla kernel, any i3/i5/i7 users don't need to use busratio. The CPUs are all supported in 10.6.4. ;)

You can find it on the Intel website on the page describing that CPU.

Hey as3pf , where you able to install snow leopard on your i3 Dell laptop?

What was the trick - running the -v busratio =16 command?

I have a Dell N5040 i3 laptop, however I can't run updates or install a bootloader/

Would appreciate any tips or suggestions.
