i can't drag any jpeg picture onto my usb storage drive.

The title say it all. I don't know why i can't drag anything to my usb drive.
This is my first time back to use mac.

Any idea why?

Disk Utility will show hard drives and any USB sticks and the like, from there just choose what you want and erase to format.

Or else you would like to install Paragon NTFS for Mac. Then you are able to write to any NTFS drives.
