Hello! Pretty new with this but I used to mess around installing on my old Dell...

I've got a i7 860 and I've actually already bought the GA-H55M-UD2H since it was 30 quid cheaper. Should I return it and get a GA-P55M-UD2?

Apparently they're both a close match but the GA-P55M-UD2 is slightly better for overclocking - http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/mother ... h-review/1

Also I'm still looking for a good graphics card for editing/video, OSX compatibility, 2 DVI and preferably fanless... any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Thanks

The UD2H is a great board IMO. I've got my i3 530 overclocked to 3.41 GHz with no problems on the stock cooler.

I'd keep it.

Also, you need to buy a copy of SL rather than using pirated distros to receive support on these forums.

The UD2H is great too...
As for the P55M-UD2 being better for overclocking, there were several stories of users with fried VRMs... Just don't push it too much without proper cooling for the VRM.

I like my 9800GT Silent Cell... Snappy, works OOB, and 100% silent... I'm no gamer though...
It has D-Sub (VGA) + HDMI + DVI... With the included HDMI->DVI adapter, it functions as a 2 x DVI card.

PS: Spend the $30 on the Retail OS X DVD !
