I've got a question. Has anyone tried the phone call to mac feature yet? The ability to answer and place phone calls from the Yosemite desktop.

I can place normal Facetime calls from the desktop to desktop / mobile with no issues. Webcam works with audio/video. But if I try to use the phone call feature to answer phone calls coming into my iPhone, there is no audio output from my desktop. I can hear the caller, but no audio is leaving the system.

If I check the audio setting in Facetime, they are on the right device and in the Audio settings in System Preferences, you can actually see the meter moving, so the device is picking up the audio. It's just not going out thru the audio channel in Facetime.

Anyone else have this problem or does the feature work on your system?

I had this same problem while using my Logitech G330 Headset. Unfortunately I did not find a fix. What I ended up doing was using my Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface and using that as an input with my condenser microphone. It works fine but I would sure like to know how to get it working with my Headset as well.

I'm having the same issue with regular FaceTime use. I've got a Logitech C910, and I use it as a microphone in addition to a webcam.

It picks up input for everything else (dictation, random recordings, etc.), but when I use it for FaceTime it doesn't pick up my voice.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I was looking on the Apple forums and seen a few threads on there of people having trouble not been heard so and Apple Fix might be needed!
