Article: Exclusive: Hands on with Gigabyte’s upcoming mini-ITX motherboards

Got the board yesterday.

Same installation as other UEFI boards (without DSDT).

The system works 100% after changing the wifi card to Athero AR9285 (with bluetooth). Wake up from Apple wireless keyboard and mouse is functioning, though the setting is still grey out in the bluetooth system preference.

Sleep, auto-sleep, wakeup, restart, shutdown, airplay mirroring all work.
SATA shows "unknown AHCI standard controller".

Z77N-wifi
i5 3570K
HD4000
AR9285 wireless/bluetooth with modified kexts
OCZ SSD
4x2 RAM

How did you function the HD4000?
Many thanks!

Could you give us a link to where you got this card? Thanks.

thelostswede,

I have built a mini Hackintosh with the Z77N board and everything works except one problem: when I choose Shutdown in ML, it shuts down, but about 3-5 seconds after shutting down, it starts up again of its own accord. I read in one of your other threads that this can be solved by disabling Wake on LAN, but I can't find that setting anywhere in BIOS. Can you help?

As I wrote in your other post. Just remove the Startech Firewire card and all your problems are gone. You'll see.
