    Ok, this one is stupidly easy once you've built the machine;

    BIOS Settings:
    Sata to AHCI
    HPET to 64-bit
    Update BIOS firmware to f10

    OSX Install
    1. Start up with iBoot and install OSX as usual, then update to 10.6.5 and restart.
    2. Run multibeast with the following settings;
    ticked - userdsdt (have the DSDT from this site on the desktop)
    ticked - ALC8xxHDA.kext
    ticked - 64bit Apple Boot Screen
    ticked - Kaby's bootloader (this is for the ATI card, you may want to choose a theme too)
    3. Restart.
    4. Install Lnx2Mac's Realtek kext

    That's it, couldn't be easier IMO, thanks to all at tonymacx86 for their hard work.

    hey crispyxuk,

    could you do me a favour and post up your parts for this build as i want use a P55-UD5 & a ATI 5770!

    Are you from the uk also? i only think this because of your name i.e. xuk....
    whats the best computer parts retailer in the uk do you think? Novatech, awd-it, maplins?

    i really want to get the parts ordered and the build started and as your post states it looks very simple!

    thanks,

    sam
