Just finished the install of Lion and when I start the new drive with my install USB I get the choice between running Lion or the Install disk, I can choose Lion and everything works great. But if I remove the USB, the boot screen appears with only Lion and pressing any key does nothing. It just stays at the boot screen. Any Suggestions?

    Thanks.

Boot with USB install stick and load your Lion from your HDD. download Chimera standalone version and install on your LION HDD again and then by boot directly from the drive again.

Just tried that and it still does the same thing. I followed this Lion Install walk through as it pertains to my exact motherboard:

    1) Edit your signature with FULL hardware spec. Especially the video card you are using.
    2) boot with -v (verbose) and post your snapshot.

Thanks so much for the help, I have updated my signature.

I know how to get the -v (of course I can only do this when I boot with the USB as keyboard does not work on single boot)

What is the best way to capture the log?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Re: Chimera won't boot if there is only one install

You mean without UniBeast USB stick, when you boot your OSX Lion HDD, you get the chimera count down, but your USB keyboard does not work which you cannot interrupt the count down and insert -v.

If that is the case, have you try using another keyboard or swap to another USB port?

Re: Chimera won't boot if there is only one install

I did not even think about the keyboard being the problem, excellent suggestion. Well neither of the UBS keyboards I have work when there is NO USB STICK in place. With the USB STICK in place they both work fine.

When I use a standard PS/2 Keyboard it works as expected! Is there a way to fix this and is this a common problem?

    Thanks so much!

    Jeff
