Can't enable sleep on H67M-ITX/HT even with proper DSDT.

Seems to be indicating a problem with the wifi. Can you disable it in BIOS? Try removing it physically?

Do you have a spare drive that you can do a fresh install and try to get just sleep working?

I do, hopefully later I will have some time to make a partition and go ahead and do that. One thing I realized is that I had a wifi card in the mini-pcie slot, so I took that out. Still didn't help. I'm actually getting a new router today so I will be disabling AirPort. I also tried using darkwake=1. However when using that it doesn't fully go to sleep. Just sleeps the display. Wakes up though. Will keep trying. Thanks for your help. If my system KP's on sleepenabler.kext, is there anyway to circumvent that to allow the kext to work? Also is it possible that some other unrelated, added kexts could be causing the issue? I guess I will find out when I do the fresh install.

That's the idea of the fresh install, to add items one at a time and narrow down what may be causing the problem. A fresh install with just the necessities will be the best. Work your way up from there.

Will do, trying to do it now. I may have to try intermittently today. Have a ton of homework. Will post in this thread when I have exhausted options.

Good luck!

Maybe the guys that suggested the board in the first place will chime in. :problem:

lol. I feel like sleep is a subject that no one wants to touch. I understand that there is so many things that can cause it and that's why it's hard to diagnose and give advice, but it's not like I didn't exhaust everything I thought I could do prior to being like "help me...". Hopefully I'll be able to get this. Just did the freshie on the other drive.

have a look over that thread.
youve already tried most things in there, but make sure the bios settings (if they are available in your bios) are the same as detailed in that thread.

try a clean install with those bios settings, with either the patched bios or speedstepper used, make the dsdt, remove the \_SB.PCI0.SBRG.SIOW (Arg0) line.
remove the wifi module for now to rule out that being a cause.

also try with the macmini sysdef.

the h67m-itx sleeps fine, have you found anyone with the /ht version with sleep working?

Okay did the fresh install. It allowed me to make that DSDT edit and boot. I installed VoodooTSCSync.kext. However sleep result is the same. Wakes up - Black screen. I removed the network to kill Airport and tried again. Same result.

I guess one good thing is that I was able to install the DSDT and found out that AppleHDA and the Sensor plug-ins are not to blame. Don't have the time right now but I am going to try and remove the 3rdPartySATA and RealTek kexts and see what else I can do. Let me know if any of these logs point anywhere. Thanks.

Samisnake - Just saw your above post. I checked my BIOS settings earlier, and they seemed to be okay. The module has been taken out as well. There's one person on this board who has this board. I messaged him yesterday and asked the above questions, but have not received a response yet. No, I have not seen a confirmed HT with sleep as of yet. Am using the MacMini def.

I also followed those instructions earlier today. I couldn't get my system to boot with the DSDT after deleting that line. I just did a fresh install and was able to install. Should I re flash the BIOS back to stock and try the Speedstepper? I used the modified BIOS from your thread for the HT version.

I couldn't get my system to boot with the DSDT after deleting that line.

ok, so thats the key thing to focus on then; getting the dsdt sorted so that you can boot in with it after the line has been deleted.

without it deleted, you wont be able to wake from sleep, so everything else is done in vain until that is sorted.

how did you delete it? what tool did you use? etc
can you upload a freshly patched dsdt (extracted, with the patch for your board applied as well as audio).

stock bios + speedstepper patched kext will be the same as using the modified bios essentially. both ways will allow sleep/wake. i would go with the bios route personally, but its up to you.

however, you must sort out the dsdt before exploring other avenues. it is the key to this
