Same thing. KP.

*smashes head on desk repeatedly*

Great...another reinstall. LOL!!!

Good thing I never give up. Flashed that BIOS that you linked to. Will report back after the *counts* 23rd reinstall.

you dont need to keep reinstalling. makes no sense

if the bios flashes properly, then youll just be able to boot in.
if you keep kernel panicking, just boot in with the unibeast stick.

Thing is even with the Unibeast stick it ALSO KP's on me.

The ONLY WAY that I can get back into OSX is to reinstall. NO command will work otherwise. THey ALL end in KP unless I reinstall.

ok this install, flash the rom i linked to, then in multibeast select userdsdt/dsdt free (but do not use any dsdt from here. selecting userdsdt will install the bootloader etc, and when you boot off the hdd, the system will use your boards dsdt) and audio options.
dont install the ethernet kext

keep this as minimal as possible for now.

the key right now is getting the modded bios flashed

That's due to the HD4000 issue with the board.. I fixed that today (see the EFI injection method in post #1).

Sami, thanks for the backup :)

I created a virgin DSDT (with no edits) for High Altitude to help him try and get past the KP.

ok so the bios is fixed at least.
that is to hd4000 issue, no idea. maybe need to use a different sysdef.
try the dsdt on the first page. simply put it in the /extra folder and restart
