(I've heard it's much more reliable than OCZ drives.)

This puts the price of my system just under $1200, which I'm happy with.

I've done a lot of research to choose these components. I'm looking for any general advice anyone might give me. It's my first hackintosh and research doesn't make up for actual experience. I also have a few specific questions:

Is the RAM an issue? I've heard that RAM with fins is generally undesirable. I saw some Patriot RAM for the same price, but it has no reviews and runs at 1.65V instead of 1.5V. Does it make a difference if I don't plan to overclock?

Should I just get the i5-2500 if I don't plan to OC?

Does the graphics card look good? I saw on the Graphic Cards DB that it work out-of-box, but I was looking for actual experience. I didn't find any discussions of it on the board, but I saw mentions.

And, finally, is the motherboard good? I know I want the Z68 chip to fully take advantage of the SSD, so I just picked one that looked good and relatively cheap.

Also, for design work, I need to be able to accurately calibrate the monitor. Is there anything I should be aware of when buying components for this?

    Thanks a lot!
    Chris
