Hi

So i have my system mostly working now.

GA-Z170X-UD3 (F4 BIOS)
Core i5-6600k (no OC)
Nvidia GTS 8800 512mb

I had CPU PWM working correctly when I installed OS X, but after fixing USB and audio i cannot seem to get it working again, I did try booting with the original config, that did not work.

I tried resetting CMOS and setting up the BIOS again, did not work.

I also tried all combinations of dropping the PWM tables (including not dropping any) no changes.

Tried removing CPU QPI, no changes.

There may be some setting I have to change, but I may just be staring my self blind at what setting to add/change and I just feel like I'm changing things for the sake of changing things.

If anyone would kindly look over the files I have attached I would be very grateful.

Also if any more information is need i'll provide it.

Sorry missed the file when uploading.

The IOReg is from same boot as all other files.

Not sure if this is what you asked:

Loaded Optimized Defaults (F7)

These are my BIOS settings (If / both settings tried):

In M.I.T./Advanced Memory Settings:

X.M.P.: Disabled / Profile 1

In BIOS Features:

Fast Boot: Disabled

Windows 8/10 Features: Other OS

LAN PXE Boot Option ROM: Disabled

Storage Boot Option Control: UEFI Only / Legacy Only

Network Stack: Disabled

In Peripherals:

Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT): Disabled

Initial Display Output: PCIe 1 Slot

Legacy USB Support: Enabled / Disabled

XHCI Hand-off: Enabled

In Peripherals/Super IO Configuration:

Serial Port 1: Disabled (IOBluetoothHostControllerUARTTransport.kext KP if enabled)

In Chipset:

VT-d: Disabled

Internal Graphics (iGPU): Disabled

PCH LAN Controller: Enabled / Disabled

In Power Management:

No changes

Screenshots of all main screens attached.

One thing to note, if I remove CPU SSDT I get some states (1.3 GHz as lowest instead of 3.7) - logs of boot with some states (and no SSDT) also attached.

Loaded Optimized Defaults (F7)
Something is wrong. Consider a fresh install.
DropTables is not doing anything as the tables listed are not present. An experiment without an attached IOReg is not helpful.

Consider a fresh install.

I'll probably do that ASAP.

An experiment without an attached IOReg is not helpful.

It is in the no-SSDT-logs.zip, but I have attached everything when using no SSDT.aml to this post (Clover Gen-states also OFF, and has never been on while using an SSDT).

Clean install, all files attached (MSR 0xE2 unlocked with BIOS patch).

One thing to note, CPU frequency is always the same in OS X as in BIOS. ( IF BIOS shows 3.7 GHz OS X shows 3.7 GHz, IF BIOS shows 3.5 GHz OS X shows 3.5 GHZ and so on.)
